Vivian is on the quiet side, but speaks well when called on. She is diligent and follows along with our material well. The area she seems to struggle with the most is her writing. This will naturally improve with time as she becomes more comfortable with the grammar and tense use. My hope is for her to feel more confident and comfortable speaking next semester. I will continue to push the girls to only speak English in class and to go out of their way to carry conversations with one another. I am excited to learn more about her next semester and hope she has a wonderful Chinese New Year! |

鍾○霖 (Lilian)

Lilian is a very nice student. She laughs often and seems to greatly enjoy meeting with her old classmates. She follows along with the material and when I call on her she answers my questions well. I would like to see her participate a bit more, but I think she is a little shy in English. This is okay! It will just take time and confidence to feel more comfortable speaking in front of the class. I look forward to getting to know her more next semester! |

Annie has a strong grasp of English in all areas. She speaks well and often explains what her friends are trying to express. Her vocabulary is the largest in the class and this enables her to assist others. She completes all exercises quickly and accurately. I am impressed by her ability to carry conversation with me and how quickly she understands our new material. I hope next semester I get to know more about her as an individual among her classmates. |

She is obviously a top student across the board. She can quickly fill out our exercises, she writes in grammatically correct sentences, her speaking is smooth, and her reading comprehension is high. I am impressed by her firm grasp of the material. We will continue to improve her grammar knowledge and hopefully encourage all the girls to speak as much as possible during each class. I look forward to getting to know her more next semester! I wish her a Happy Chinese New Year! |

Zoey is a lively, friendly, talkative student. She is a joy to teach. I have been impressed with the quality of her questions and her desire to deeply understand the material. It is obvious that she is an excellent student and a bright girl. It appears she has a firm grasp of the grammar, but could used continued practice putting it to use in her writing. I look forward to getting to know her more next semester! I wish her a Happy Chinese New Year!
